Cork wheels are grinding wheels for super finishing applications, where a high quality mirror surface finish is required. The abrasive grain is contained in an elastomer bond and sized for grinding and polishing and a high concentration of cork particles are used as a filler. Resilient bonds together with the cork particles give a mild polishing action and a bright finish of superb quality.
